Preparation

Wear protective eye goggles and waterproof gloves. Spray all vegetation thoroughly with water prior to and after application. Cover any areas you want to protect. Do not allow this product to come in contact with fabric, furniture, metal, or floor covering. Do not mix with bleach or other chemicals. Always test on a small hidden area.

Application

This product comes ready to use. No mixing is necessary. The surface should be swept clean and dry.* On vertical surfaces, such as siding or fences, apply ZAR® Deck, Fence and Wood Cleaner with a synthetic brush or a deep nap roller, working from the bottom to the top. On horizontal surfaces, apply it with a synthetic brush. Work from one end, on 3-5 boards at a time. Allow the product to sit on the surface for 15-20 minutes, keeping it wet with additional product as needed. Scrub the surface with a synthetic stiff bristle broom or brush. You can also use a power washer with a 40-degree tip at low (500-1000 psi) pressure. Make sure to thoroughly rinse the surface when completed. Allow the wood to dry thoroughly before applying a water-based finish, and at least 24 hours before applying an oil-based finish.

Disposal

Dispose of contaminated absorbent, container and unused contents in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
